2 persons involved in 50 cases arrested

New Delhi: Two persons involved in more than 50 cases nabbed from South Campus area of South West Delhi, police claimed on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Devender Arya claimed that on secret information that two boys Jitender and Vipin were nabbed. A trap was laid to nab the accused persons near the expected place of arrival in Mochi Gaon, South

Campus.

Accused were apprehended successfully after a brief chase by the team.

From their possession, one stolen mobile phone and one stolen TVS Apache motorcycle were recovered.

"During interrogation accused Jitender he fell in bad company and started committing petty thefts. He was declared BC from V. K. South police station and was running absent from last 3-4 years," said DCP Arya.

Both of the accused are drug addicts and commit the crime to fulfil their need for drugs.
