2 collection agents killed during robbery bid in Gr Noida

Greater Noida: Two collection agents of Wave group were shot dead while another one was injured during a robbery incident in Chaughanpur village at Ecotech area in Greater Noida on Wednesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Omprakash and Chandrabahadur while another guard, Ambuj, was injured. The miscreants, around four in number, looted around Rs 10 lakh from the van and fled from the spot.

According to police, the incident was reported at around 8.30pm.

The victims, a driver and a security guard, were employees of liquor shops managed by Wave group and were appointed to make the daily collections. A gang of four robbers travelling in a car overtook their van and opened fire at them.
