2 brothers found hanging from window railing

New Delhi: Two brothers were found hanging at their accommodation in West Delhi's Hari Nagar area. Police claimed that the deceased had taken loans and were unemployed.

According to police on September 5, at about 1 pm, an information was received at Police Station Hari Nagar that foul smell was coming out.

"On enquiry, it was found that the premises was owned by one Babu Lal and the same was let out by him to a person identified as Ashish Kumar Deb who was residing at the address for last four months," police said.

Police further added that immediately the crime team was called on the spot and the entry was made in the premises. The main gate of the house was forcefully broken. Two persons Ashish Kumar Dev (58) and his brother Chotte were found hanging on the iron railing of the window.

"The body of both the deceased was found in a decomposed state. No suicide note was found at the spot. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to hospital for post mortem," police said.

The investigating agency has questioned several persons in this regard to get few clues regarding the incident.

Woman phone snatched in South Delhi

A woman mobile phone was snatched in South Delhi's Hauz Khas area. Police said that on Thursday the victim was coming to her office from Green Park in auto and was busy in talking on her mobile, suddenly two men came on scooty and snatched her mobile phone and showed a weapon. After that, they run away towards Asiad village society while she chased them.
