18-year-old shot at over Kabaddi score

New Delhi: An 18-year-old was shot at by two assailants following a dispute over the score in a kabaddi match being played between two blocks in southeast Delhi's Dakshinpuri on Sunday. Police claimed that the victim was under treatment at the hospital and was reported to be stable.
According to police, at 8:20 pm on Sunday a kabbadi match was being played between C-block and 20-block teams. A dispute arose between the two sides over the score and the midline. Both the sides got into an argument.
Meanwhile, two spectators, who were supporting the C-block kabaddi team also jumped into the argument and started accused the team members of 20-block team of cheating. One of the two persons then whipped out a pistol and shot at Avinash, who was playing for the 20-block team.
