16 non-recongnised schools in Gzb, Gautam Buddh Nagar sealed

Ghaziabad: Acting strictly against the non-recognised private schools across the Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad districts, both the administrations have sealed numerous schools that are running illegally without recognition or affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

In Gautam Buddh Nagar district, the administration sealed 10 such schools while six have been sealed in Ghaziabad.

According to the senior district administration officials, the decision has been taken after several complaints were received against these schools and notices were left unanswered.

"Despite several notices, many have failed to gain affiliation. Till now, we have sealed 10 schools and will continue this drive in GBN district and seal all the schools operating illegally," said a senior administration officer.

Similar drive was also undertaken in Ghaziabad, where the administration has decided to take strict action against the non-recognized schools.

On Wednesday, the administration sealed three schools in the Khoda area of Ghaziabad.

According to the administration, they are exploring non-affiliated schools and have undertaken a drive against them and so far, around six non-recognized schools are operating in Khoda. The administration has managed to seal three schools and three other schools were found to be shut so they managed to escape the action.

Sub-divisional Magistrate Vinay Kumar said that action will be taken against the other three schools soon.

They have closed the school on their own. When the school opens again, they will be sealed.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vinay Kumar and ABSA have sealed Ramanuj School, Prashant Public School and Parashar Public School in Malkira Vihar while taking action.

Around 200 schools in Ghaziabad are running without necessary affiliation. Although some schools are recognized but they are not following the standards required for the school.
