14th auto expo in Greater Noida' may see unveiling of over hundred vehicles

Greater Noida: The 14th auto expo to be organized at Greater Noida's Expo Mart is expected to see many new launches and over hundred unveiling of vehicles. The organizers say that the average foot fall this year will be way higher as compared to the previous years. However, the district traffic police have said that they have chalked out plans to tackle the situation and manage a proper traffic flow.
"Like previous year, we expect a massive turnout of visitors this year as well. Policemen are deputed across the roads connecting Auto Expo to Delhi and the commuters must follow their directions. Near the venue, two parking slots are for visitors and they are advised not to park their vehicles at prohibited zones.
Discussions are underway to plan a hassle free route to reach the auto expo" said Anil Kumar Jha, Superintendent of police (Traffic), Gautam Buddh Nagar.
"Personnel are briefed about the possible situations and quick response teams to handle traffic jams will be active throughout. Cranes will be on a standby to remove the broke down or illegally parked vehicles. A fine will be imposed on the violators if they park their vehicles at no parking zone leading to trouble for other commuters" added Jha.
This year, the auto expo will be more important for the district administration and police as sources say that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar are likely to come for the inauguration ceremony. However, the organizers have not yet made an official statement over this.
The auto expo is organized in every two years. This will be the 14th auto expo and will be organized from February 7th to 14th. This will be the third time that it is being organized in Greater Noida. The organizers say that the auto expo is expected to see 24 new launches and over 100 unveiling of vehicles. Various two wheelers and four wheelers automobile companies from all over the globe are expected to take part in the auto expo.
Unlike previous years, besides showcasing of vehicles, Innovation zones, Destination Zone, Smart Mobility Zone and Competition zone will be the major attraction for the visitors, the organizers said.
