13-year-old boy dies after falling inside school's washroom
New Delhi: A 13-year-old boy died under mysterious circumstances after he fell inside school's washroom in the Rohini district area on Friday. The deceased's family members said that the child did not have any medical history. The law enforcement agency claimed that initial investigation suspects no foul play.
According to police, the boy, who studied in class 8 was inside the school's washroom when he fell on the floor and started to shiver. Other students who were present at the spot informed the school authority regarding the incident. He was rushed to the hospital where doctor declared him dead.
The child was studying in the government school and lived with his family in Budh Vihar area. According to the deceased's family member, his other siblings were also at the school when the incident happened. "I talked to my other kids they also don't know what happened," said deceased's father. He further said that his son did not have any medical history and he was fit. "Like every day I dropped my kid in the autorickshaw. He was well when my kid was going to school," said the father.
Later they received a phone from school authority regarding the deteriorating health of his son. The family rushed to school, then to the hospital, where they came to know about death. Police have also questioned a few known persons and other students regarding the incident. A senior Delhi Police officer said that initial investigation did not suggest any foul play. The deceased's father is an autorickshaw driver.
