1 new case of COVID-19 from Ggm, 5 from Nuh

Gurugram: As per the officials from the district health department, a new case was reported from ward number 14 in Pataudi. The patient was an attendee of Tablighi Jamaat. With this, there are two cases of patients attending Nizamuddin Markaz.

On Sunday, 90 samples were taken for testing, out of which 12 samples were done in government laboratories whose results are awaited and 78 samples were taken to private medical facilities.

The total samples collected till date is 779 in which the total positive cases in Gurugram are 16. Nine patients have been cured of the deadly infection thereby resulting in seven active cases presently.

Nuh district reported five new cases of COVID -19. All the patients too as per health officials were also the part of Tablighi Jamaat. Neighbouring cities of Gurugram like Faridabad and Palwal have also witnessed a spate of COVID-19 cases.

The total number of samples that have been sent for testing in Haryana is 1,536 in which 978 have been found negative and 76 cases are positive. Fifteen patients have been discharged till date and results of 482 samples are being awaited.

There are over 498 patients who have been admitted in the hospitals or placed in isolation centres. There are 18,055 persons under surveillance and there are over 702 persons who have been identified to be in contact with COVID-19 patients.
