Delhi Tourism upgrades its website

Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) on Thursday announced the launch of a revamped version of its official website www.delhitourism.gov.in in the national Capital. 
The ‘New Look’ for DTTDC website was launched by Padmini Singla, MD and CEO, DTTDC, along with other senior officials of DTTDC at their headquarters.

Padmini Singla said: “Dotted with historical monuments and ruins, there is a lot that Delhi can boast about. The ‘New Look’ for Delhi Tourism official website will not only provide ease of access but will encourage tourists to plan their trip as per their preference.”

The website represents the vital role DTTDC has been playing since its inception in the field of Tourism promotion in Capital through its dedicated and transparent services.

Visitors can also see how it strives to develop Tourism and how it works to improve the image of the city so as to increase and facilitate tourism within the city. 

The website has been planned and designed in such a manner that it provides an easy user interface for mobile/tablet users and also answers the queries which visitors may sought to ask.

 The website features options such as ‘about the city’, ‘how to travel’, ‘modes of transportation available’, ‘best season to visit’, ‘hangout zones’, ‘cuisines’, ‘events’, ‘accommodations’, ‘planning itinerary’, ‘packages’, ‘HO-HO bus service’, ‘historic and heritage places to visit’, ‘regular walks & tours’, museums and Dilli Haats, besides various other properties of Delhi Tourism like Garden of Five Senses, Azad Hind gram, GTB Memorial, etc.

The e-commerce based booking services for the national and international packages offered by DTTDC and its travel partner provides various services like booking of air fare, booking of accommodation, booking of car/coaches, booking of tour packages and travel insurance. 
People can download Tourist Literature and information about the city and photo galleries can enable visitors to become acquainted with the city.

The site will also provide the web links for its official pages at Facebook, YouTube to make it easy for visitors to follow DTTDC and retrieve latest contents including photos, videos, newsletters, itineraries and various tourist packages to choose from.
