Delhi Metro’s Airport Express gets free WiFi; Blue Line next

Delhi Metro’s Airport Express line gets free WiFi with speeds up to 50 Mbps starting today, while the Blue Line stretch between Noida/Vaishali and Dwarka is slated get WiFi service in the coming days, reports PTI. The WiFi service was announced in April through a partnership between Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRCL), and network providers including Techno Sat Comm and PING Network. 

The service aims to cover all stations including 222 trains, 187 stations by second half of 2017, added the report. Commuters will need to download a mobile app to access the free service and connect to “Oui DMRC Free Wifi” network. The app is designed to display location status, approach, and destination stations.
