Delhi BJP marches in protest against barbaric killing of Indian soldiers

Delhi BJP leaders and party workers burnt the flag of Pakistan in front of the Pakistan high commission in Delhi to protest against the barbaric killing of two Indian soldiers.

‘The government must give a strong reply to this barbaric act so that it will not be repeated in the future,’ said Vijender Gupta, president of Delhi BJP. He further added that in this crisis, BJP will stand by the government and will support its tough actions against Pakistan. He termed the incident as insult to the country and Indians.

The BJP leaders and workers marched in procession from BJP headquarters at Pant Marg, holding placards and shouting slogans against Pakistan. But when the workers broke the barricade put up by the police near RML hospital, they were prevented from marching  further.

Speaking on the occasion,  Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijay Kumar Malhotra said, ‘The government of India should not remain silent.’

Former Delhi BJP president and MLA from Krishna Nagar, Harsh Vardhan said, ‘It’s most unfortunate and shameful for the country. Pakistan has become a habitual offender, when we try to forget one barbaric act and extend our hand in friendship, they plan and execute another. The government should now follow the policy of tit for tat and send a loud and clear message that enough is enough.’
