DD official sent to Andamans for airing Jashodaben news

A top Ahmedabad Doordarshan Kendra official was sent to Andamans for airing news about Jashodaben, estranged wife of Narendra Modi. V M Vanol, 58, an assistant director with the DD was transferred to Port Blair in the second week of January after he put up a two-minute news item that talked about Jashodaben filing an RTI petition with Gujarat Police seeking details of her entitlements as PM’s wife.
