D K Bhalla set to be appointed Lok Sabha Secy

Senior IAS officer D K Bhalla may be appointed as Secretary in Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Bhalla is a 1986 batch IAS officer of Nagaland cadre. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved curtailment of Bhalla's tenure as Executive Director in FCI, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said. His tenure has been curtailed with the stipulation that he may join as Secretary in LS secretariat, on deputation basis, for a period of three years or until further orders, it said. The ACC has also approved premature repatriation of Rajesh Kumar Khullar, Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs to his parent cadre.
