Critics can shut up now: DI Maria

Argentina winger Angel Di Maria scored twice in Real Madrid’s 5-0 mauling of Valencia on Sunday and then told his growing army of critics to keep a lid on their complaints. ‘I played a very good match that will force some people to shut their mouths,’ the 24-year-old told Canal+ Spain.  But Di Maria insisted he wasn’t including coach Jose Mourinho on his list of detractors despite being singled out by the Portuguese for a below-par performance in last week’s 0-0 draw at Oasuna. ‘He says what he has to say and everyone knows how to take it. I know who I want to keep quiet,’ he said.
