Cowell gets passport for his new born son

The X Factor creator and judge and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman welcomed their first child together, son Eric, on 14 February and on Wednesday the happy couple headed to Manhattan Family Court in New York, where a judge signed an order of filiation, formally acknowledging Cowell as the child’s father in the event of custody or visitation issues.

The new parents also filed papers for Eric’s first travel documents and he was subsequently cleared for take-off, reports tmz.com.

However, the child is unlikely to be boarding a plane anytime soon.
