Court gives Nupur Talwar another jolt

The special CBI court in Ghaziabad has extended the validity of non-bailable warrant issued against Nupur Talwar till the end of this month.

In the special court of the CBI , the agency submitted that the date of NBW against Nupur Talwar, accused in the murder case of her daughter has expired so it needs an immediate renewal. However , Nupur Talwar did not turn up in the court her counsellors argued that the court must restrict the CBI from arresting him as the case is pending in the Apex Court.

The court, however issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Nupur Talwar iand has extended its validity till next hearing April 30 and directed the agency to submit status report on next hearing. The next hearing in the case will be on April 30.

The CBI had secured a NBW against Nupur Talwar in the murder case of her own daughter Aarushi Talwar and servent Hemraj, on last Wednesday after she did not appear before the court despite several calls.

Immediately after the NBW she went underground and CBI sleuths searched her residence and probable hideouts but could not nab her.

After hide and seek for a few days Nupur emerged equipped with a Supreme Court stay on her arrest.
Aarushi Talwar (14) was found dead in her house in very mysterious circumstances and became one of the most infamous murder mystery of the country.

Initially police suspected the hand of servant in the murder case but her dead body was also found on the terrace of her house next day. Wandering from one servant after the other, the agency has now focussed on her parents as main accused in the case.

But Talwars keep on claiming innocence and accusing CBI diverting the probe in wrong direction.
