Cops on the lookout for two men for rape

Two incidents of rapes have been reported from Punjabi Bagh area of west Delhi. An 18-year-old girl has been raped on the pretext of a job interview by the interviewer. In another incident, a 19-year-old, a domestic help, was raped by her employer.
In the first incident, according to the police, the girl has recently completed her schooling and has been looking for a part-time job to earn pocket money. She was a resident of Khayala. Last week, she received a call from a company informing her that her resume has been selected.
The girl went to the company in the Punjabi Bagh area for an interview. As per the appointment, the receptionist send her to the interview room. According to the girl, the interviewer began talking to her vulgarly as soon as she entered and later molested her. When the girl objected, he forced himself on her. The girl reported the incident to the police. Once the medical examination confirmed rape, a case has been registered against the accused, C M Kashyap, 30.
The 19-year-old domestic help from Assam has been working in a house in Punjabi Bagh area for a few years now. The girl has been rescued by an NGO who later lodged a complaint with the police. ‘The medical examination confirmed rape. The employer has been absconding after the complaint,’ said a police official.
