Cops issue ‘red alert’ on suspicious vehicle movement

The police issued an alert in Jamnagar district, after they received information regarding suspicious movement of an SUV in the coastal town of Sikka near here on Monday.
Alert has been issued across the district as the police did not want to take a chance, after a recent IB alert regarding the entry of 10 terrorists from Pakistan through the Gujarat coastal route, Jamnagar SP Pradeep Sejul said.
“We learnt that an SUV with four persons was moving suspiciously near Sikka town. One person was holding a weapon,” he said.
