Cops arrest two of six for killing youth in Ambedkar Nagar

Few days after mute-spectators were captured witnessing a brutal murder in Burari, another similar kind of video has come up where a 22-year-old boy was shot three times in a broad daylight in Ambedkar Nagar area.

Three days after the incident, Delhi Police have arrested two persons while four others are still absconding, police said on Friday.

The incident took place on September 27, when Aman was going to H-Block market to buy meat with his friend in an Alto car. In the mid-way, at J-Block in Dakshinpuri, when he got off form the car, six men who were waiting for his arrival indulged in a heated argument with him.

The locals and the shopkeepers were witnessing the act but no one intervened. Later, they dragged Aman few metres away where they opened fire at him. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV camera.

Leaving him in a pool of blood, all the accused had an easy escape. Meanwhile, one of the eyewitnesses made a call to the police control room. The police team rushed Aman to AIIMS Trauma
centre where he succumbed to his injuries.

Based on the CCTV footage, the identities of the accused persons were established and during raids Shivam and Johnson were arrested.

Both are residents of Dakshinpuri and the gang has personal enmity with Aman.

“The motive of the accused would be ascertained only after the arrest of the main accused,” a senior officer in South-ast district said.
