Cop beaten up by minister’s escort

In a blatant abuse of power, a traffic policeman was beaten by a senior Jammu and Kashmir minister's escort on Monday.
The incident happened allegedly after the traffic policeman stopped their convoy from jumping a traffic signal at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. The injured cop has been hospitalised. Following the incident, two cops were arrested.
