Cook robs Gurgaon house, speeds past in employer’s Jaguar

A cook robbed allegedly his employer’s house of valuable items and loaded them in his Jaguar car on Saturday evening. The police said the incident took place in the Sushant Lok Police Station area when the owner of the house, Rana, was out on a business tour to Australia and his wife had gone out for some work.

However, the accused, Shankar (25), abandoned the car midway and decamped with the valuables. The car has been recovered, police said. The police have launched a hunt to nab Shankar, who is on the run.

Police said Shankar drugged Rana’s maid before decamping with the valuables.  They added the couple had hired Shankar, who hails from Nepal, as a cook about a month ago. 

When Rana’s wife returned home the, she found the car missing and the maid unconscious. She later discovered that her house had been robbed and informed the police. An FIR has been filed at the Sushant Lok police station.
