Consecutive applicants get flats, DDA clarifies draw fully computerised

In the recently-concluded draw of DDA’s flagship housing scheme, three consecutive applicants appeared successful. Incidentally, all three applicants turned out to be siblings.
According to the detailed list of the allottees, three application numbers — 1145321, 1145322, and 1145323, were allotted the LIG flats. Clarifying that the draw was completely computerised, the DDA said the applicans belonged to ST category. “A total of 20,243 applicants applied under this category.
The number of flats available were 1,876 and thus the probability was 1:6 as against 1:40 under general category”, read the official statement from the land developing agency.
