Stating that the chances were bright for a non-BJP and non-Congress government at the Centre after Lok Sabha polls, CPI Tamil Nadu secretary D Pandian on Monday said Congress will be forced to support that alternative to keep the saffron party out of power.
Asked whether there was a possibility of Left parties supporting Congress, if it fell short of a majority, as was done during the first UPA regime, Pandian said, ‘It would be the other way around. This time Congress will be forced to support a government, as non-BJP and non-Congress parties will emerge victorious.’
