Congress MP from Gurgaon to join BJP on 13 Feb

Singh, said, ‘I have decided to join BJP. The formal joining will take place at the party office in the presence of party president Rajnath Singh. I had a detailed discussions with the party (BJP) president and BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley. I am keen to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.’

He said, ‘I will strive hard to help BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to become the prime minister. I always protested against corruption and therefore irrespective of my party (Congress), I spoke against the land deals of Vadra and demanded a CBI probe.’ Singh has been a four-time MLA and a three-time MP from the area.

Meanwhile, on the context of Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s protest, the BJP has termed him and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) party as ‘unguided missiles’.

‘Leaders of AAP should realise that they cannot remain unguided missiles anymore as they are now bound by the Constitution. It is unfortunate that they are behaving like unguided missiles. It seems that they are more interested in street protests than doing something concrete to give relief to the people. They are dream merchants and they sell dreams,’ said BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
