Cong, BJP now turning to star campaigners in UttaraKhand
As the date of 7 May is coming nearer, the major big parties Congress and BJP is now inviting star campaigners from politics and cinema world to glamorize election campaigning to woo voters. Although, this is not a new phenomenon in this hill state, but the political fight between two ideologies has created suspense over the results. Both parties are claiming to win all five seats from this state.
Will Congress repeat the past performance or BJP will equalise the old score with the help of anti-incumbency wave plus Modi factor.
The tug of war has initiated between two arch political parties to invite maximum star campaigners who can create positive atmosphere by their oratory skills and glamorous face value. As per party sources, famous cine-stars Amisha Patel, Neha Dhupia, Nagma, Raj Babbar and Ravi Kishan will soon reach Devbhoomi to campaign for Congress candidates from all five Lok Sabha seats. State chief minister Harish Rawat is going roundabouts in state with state-level star campaigners like former CM Vijay Bahuguna, cabinet ministers Dinesh Aggarwal, Amrita Rawat, Yashpal Arya.
