‘Complaints on incomplete NCERT texts on Maratha king’

The government said it has received a complaint alleging that NCERT textbooks contain very incomplete information about Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In a reply to a question in Lok Sabha, HRD Minister Smriti Irani said that the complaint has been forwarded to NCERT for taking appropriate action.
