Commuters hassled as snag halts Metro’s Blue Line

Metro services on the Blue line, connecting Dwarka to Noida and Vaishali, remained affected for over half -an-hour on Wednesday night due to technical reasons, leaving commuters stranded at various stations.

"There was an OHE (overhead equipment) problem between Rajendra Place and Karol Bagh stations. The system has slowed down as a result but restoration is underway," said a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson.

The fault occurred after 9 pm, leading to slow movement of metro rakes. Commuters were stranded.
