CM to inaugurate electrification of first village in Bastar
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday presided over a meeting of the Energy Department at Mantralaya and gave final touches to the projects of electrification in entire state and particularly Bastar region. ‘Chhote Dongar’ village in Bastar’s ‘Abhujmargh’ region is going to be electrified first time since Independence with traditional energy. CM will launch the project in October.
He reviewed the installation of electric sub-stations in various parts of the state. He instructed the department officials to implement the projects on a war-footing. The 198 electric sub-stations’ projects of 33/11 k.v. capacity should be completed by June 2017. They will resolve the low voltage fluctuations issue.
