CM continues with plantation drive

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit planted a Moulsari sapling in the Kali Bari Marg area in continuation of the New Delhi Municipal Council’s Tree Plantation and  Environmental Awareness Campaign on Saturday morning. 

Jalaj Shrivastva, chairman NDMC and several other members of the council were also present on the occasion and participated in the plantation drive.

NDMC had launched a mass tree plantation programme in July. The civic agency launched the drive with an aim to plant three thousand trees and fifty thousand shrub plantation.
