Class XI student kills self in Palam Vihar
A class XI student committed suicide on Friday morning after hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his Ashok Vihar residence in Palam Vihar Phase II.
The victim studied at a public school in Gurgaon Sector 5 and had left for school at 8.30 am in the morning.
It was around 11 am that he returned from school and committed suicide while his mother was out in the market.
According to the information received, his parents claim that this incident doesn’t seem to be a case of <g data-gr-id="22">suicide</g> but officials investigating the case hints on it being just that with the probability of murder being almost negligible.
“The exact reason will be confirmed once the post-mortem reports are out”, Deepak Saharan, DCP East told Millennium Post.
Around 12:30 in the afternoon the victim’s mother came back and realised that the door was locked from inside with no response despite ringing the bell and multiple knocks at the door.
<g data-gr-id="20">Finally</g> the neighbours gathered and broke the door and found the teenager hanging from the ceiling fan of the washroom.
After that, the family informed the police and the body <g data-gr-id="18">was</g> sent for post-mortem.
