City witnesses traffic jam due to rally

Traffic in the city was thrown out of gear for around four hours from 10 am on Sunday due to CPI(M)’s rally at Brigade Parade Ground. The traffic department, however, managed the situation well and helped the commuters by making the major thoroughfares free from congestion from 3 pm onward. The situation turned worse when rallies from Howrah and Sealdah stations marched towards the venue.
