City govt to organise ‘Nirbhaya Sadaa’ today

Remembering the bravery of the paramedical student, who fought valiantly with six ‘predators’, who brutally gang-raped her on a moving bus in the national Capital, on the night of December 16, 2012, the Delhi government on Friday will organise “Nirbhaya Sadaa”.

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Art and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra will host this event on behalf of the government. The event will be organised at Central Park, Connaught Place at 6.30 pm on December 16, 2016, informed a government communiqué.

At this event, there will be a performance of “A Woman Alone”, a play directed by Arvind Gaur along with a street play by Dastak street theatre group, the communiqué added.
