Chhote Nawab confirms Kareena’s pregnancy

Saif said in a statement: “My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience.”

Kareena and Saif, who already has two children with former wife Amrita Singh, tied the knot in 2012 after a five-year relationship.

While Bollywood actores like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are making a splash in the West, Kareena had shared earlier that she has no such ambitions. She said that she has no ambition to go globe-trotting with her talent and is happy to have “a little place of my own”.

Meanwhile, producer Rhea Kapoor has rubbished rumours about the delay in the shooting of Veere Di Wedding due to Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy saying that the actor will join the shooting in August.

Kareena and Saif Ali Khan will be blessed with their first child in December, and Rhea said that actor is a “through professional”. “Ekta Kapoor and I, with our families and companies, are delighted and excited for Kareena and Saif.

“We are thrilled to be part of their special journey!” Rhea said in a statement. “Kareena is going on with her work and life as usual and we couldn’t be prouder to have her,” she added.
