Chhattisgarh’s Aditi Patel cracks UPSC examination

Chhattisgarh’s Aditi Patel has cracked the civil services examination being conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Patel, whose father is a farmer, belongs to Raigarh district’s Botalda village under Kharsiya region of the state. With Aditi Patel securing 864th rank, her selection to Indian Revenue Services is imminent. 

Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh has congratulated Aditi for cracking the coveted examination of the country. Aditi Patel is the daughter of late Holkar Patel and Kumudini Patel. It is pertinent to mention here that Aditi is getting married on 20 June with a 2005 batch IAS officer Om Prakash Choudhray, who is at present collector of Janjgir-Champa. Choudhray is also a resident of Raigarh district and has worked as director (public relations) of the state government.
