Centre committed towards development of villages: Shah

Reiterating the Centre’s poor friendly schemes, Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national president Amit Shah on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government is committed for the overall development of every village and empowering common man.

“The Centre’s commitment towards development of villages, poor and farmers are very much visible in the budget presented for the year 2016-17. The Centre has announced Rs 80 lakh for the development of villages, while a provision has been made to allocate Rs 21 crore for the makeover of towns,” Shah said.

Reiterating the priorities of PM Modi, Shah said, “Our PM dreams about villages having all the basic facilities such as better roads, highway connectivity, pucca house to every poor, 24 hours power supply, clean drinking water and employment opportunities. This is for the first time in the history that a Prime Minister has initiated a campaign to make model village by launching Pradhanmantri Adarsh Gram Yojna.”

Shah further added that it’s the dream of the Prime Minister to make every village as Gokul Gram and the BJP is committed to accomplish the dreams of PM Modi.

Present on the occasion, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that millions of people would be benefited from the ambitious Gram Uday, Bharat Uaday initiative of the Centre as it will create a huge job opportunities for people of the state.
