Cate Blanchett puts estate on sale for $ 20 mn

Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett has placed her palatial Australian estate on the market for $ 14.75 million. The 46-year-old Elizabeth actor and husband Andrew Upton, 49, are ready to part with their five-bedroom waterfront property, reported the New York Post.

Overlooking the Lane Cove River in Sydney, the sandstone-faced mansion is set on a lush parcel of land in the exclusive suburb of Hunter Hills. Called <g data-gr-id="14">Bulwarra</g>, the estate was built in 1877.

The master bedroom features a sky-lit dressing room and freestanding bath that boasts a sweeping view of the Australian landscape. Other amenities include a pool pavilion with large spa shaded by a pergola, a championship tennis court.
