Cash-for-vote: ACB questions TDP leader

The Telangana anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Wednesday quizzed party leader Vem <g data-gr-id="14">Narendar</g> Reddy for around six hours in connection with <g data-gr-id="13">cash-for-vote</g> case and served a fresh notice to the party legislator Sandra Venkata Veeraiah.

<g data-gr-id="15">Narendar</g> Reddy appeared at the ACB office in Banjara Hills here after being served a notice by the probe agency and was questioned for around six hours.

"...Yes, he was questioned...he is let off," additional superintendent of police (ACB) M Malla Reddy told a news agency. <g data-gr-id="12">Narendar</g> Reddy, who had unsuccessfully contested the Telangana Legislative Council election held on June 1, claimed that he had not anything wrong.

EC wants vigorous probe: ACB The Election Commission of India wanted the Telangana government to probe the cash-for-vote case involving the TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy and others "vigorously" and "take it to its logical end", the state ACB director general AK Khan said here.
