Case against IP Univ college’s DG for molestation

According to sources, on September 17, an assistant female professor at the college affiliated to the IP University alleged that she had gone to the DG’s room to give him an invitation card for her wedding.

The DG took advantage of her. He allegedly tried to hold her hand and touch her inappropriately. When the female professor threatened to inform everyone about the incident, the Director General allegedly threatened her of dire consequences.

 Sources further said that the professor after returning home somehow gathered the courage to inform her family and on September 19, they approached the police after which a case was registered. Police meanwhile, said that a case under Section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been registered against the DG of the college.
