Case against CONCOR officer, CBI raids 10 places

CBI on Wednesday conducted raids at 10 places in different cities after registering a case against an officer of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) for allegedly misappropriating Rs 1.83 crore. A case has been registered against an officer of CONCOR and unnamed others under various sections of IPC dealing with criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery and Prevention of Corruption Act, a CBI spokesperson said. The officer had allegedly misappropriated Rs 1.83 crore on account of sale proceeds of Fresh and Healthy Enterprises Ltd (FHEL) of Sonepat (Haryana), a wholly-owned subsidiary of M/s CONCOR, engaged in the business of procurement, storage and sale of fruits, she said.
