Carpet expo draws Indian and foreign buyers

India Carnet Expo at Varanasi on second day registered the presence of fifty overseas buyers in addition to 150 buyers already registered on the first day of the fair on on 12 October 2012.. More than 200 buying representatives also registered their presence in the India Carpet Expo.
Govind Raju NS. IAS, District. Magistrate, Mirzapur and Brig Akhil Dixit, Commanding Officer 39, GIG, Varanasi also visited India Carpet Expo. Some of the reputed buyers from US, UK, Brazil and South Africa and other European countries who visited the fair were very impressed with the display of various handmade carpets and other floor coverings and arrangements made by the organisers. Organisers are hopeful that the fair will be a grand success.
