Carlsberg India launches fruit-flavoured strong beer

Carlsberg India, a unit of Denmark-based Carlsberg Group on Monday launched a fruit-flavored strong beer in its Tuborg Strong brand that is positioned for younger consumers.
'Tuborg Booster Strong is priced at Rs 105 for a 500ml can and Rs 135 for 650ml bottle and enriched with natural fruit flavour that reduces bitterness and gives a smooth after taste,' Carlsberg India said in a statement here. Tuborg Booster Strong is the first fruit-flavoured strong beer in the Indian market and has been launched at Kolkata and Mumbai, the company said.
The new beer will be rolled out in a phased manner over the next one month across major cities like, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Bangalore and Bhubaneswar.
