Car Free Day: Gopal Rai holds open session with city officials

In a bid for a successful ‘Car-Free Day’ in the city, Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai on Friday held an open session with MLAs and officials from PWD, MCD, NDMC, ASI and ITDP here. The ‘Car-free Day’ will be observed on the road stretch between Red Fort and <g data-gr-id="8">Tilag</g> Marg from 7 am till noon on October 22, and no car will be allowed on this stretch. Rai said that the AAP government was taking several steps for a stronger public transport system, adding that it was decided to increase the number of buses in the national Capital.
