Former soccer star David Beckham says he can't compete with his wife Victoria on the fashion front.
David, who attended a signing for his book Off Road/David Beckham and showed off his capsule collection for leather brand Belstaff at their Madison Avenue store in New York earlier this week, believes the former Spice Girls band member-turned-fashion designer will always be one step ahead of him in the industry, reports contactmusic.com.
When asked about competition between the couple, he told WWD: ‘She would definitely win. (What she's) created and achieved in a few short years, going from a Spice Girl to a respected fashion designer. It's really inspiring to see.’ The 39-year-old, who is also the face of British brand's 2014 global ad campaign, jumped at the chance to design for the luxury label.
