Can baba’s remedies help him skip jail?

Nirmaljit Singh Narula, alias Nirmal Baba, applied for anticipatory bail at the Delhi High Court as reports emerged that he could be arrested for money laundering.
This is the man, who claimed to have remedy for all ills for all comers.
He had a paid TV show, Nirmal Durbar, on such platforms like AXN, TV Asia, Star News, SAB TV and many others. The format of the show was simple: he would have an audience of admirers mixed with his 'paid' questioners, who would pose their problems to him and he would have sure-fire solutions to those.
The idea was to spread the net far and wide and get more people to get hooked to him. These meetings, called samagams had an entry fee of Rs 2,000 per person. He would end up gathering quite a kitty.
He had such potions such like eating 'rabri' and 'paanipuri' as solutions to those problems.
