Calvin Harris rules out collaboration with Taylor Swift

British DJ Calvin Harris has made it clear that he currently doesn’t have plan to do a collaboration with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Harris said that he and Swift actually had never talked about working on music together, but he was pretty sure it wouldn’t happen anytime soon because the ‘Bad blood’ singer is going to take a “long break,” reports aceshowbiz.com.

“We haven’t even spoken about it. But I can’t see it happening. No, she’s about to take a long break, you know?” Harris said. Swift released her last album ‘1989’ in 2014. Meanwhile, Harris has lots of new music underway. He’s currently working on a follow-up to his own 2014 set ‘Motion’ and recently released ‘This is what you came for’ as a preview of what’s to come.

The song features guest vocals from Rihanna, whom he previously collaborated with on the chart-topping ‘We found love’.

Taylor Swift, 26, went solo to the Met Gala on May 2, with hunky boyfriend Calvin Harris, 32, nowhere in sight on the glitzy evening. It turns out that Calvin just likes to stay low-key with his relationship. “He rarely steps on a carpet with her and instead prefers to keep their relationship private,” the insider informed HollywoodLife.com.
