Caller tune lends a peek into don’s B-town love

The love underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has for Bollywood has once again been proved. India’s most-wanted don has set 1997 release Priyatama’s song Main jo bolun haan toh haan, main bolu naah toh naah as his caller tune.

Sources in the special cell of Delhi police, which is likely to submit the chargesheet in the IPL spot-fixing scandal, told Millennium Post that while intercepting the calls of bookies and cricketers they heard Dawood’s voice as well. Interestingly, Dawood who is known to have relationships with some Bollywood people is attached to the Indian cinema.

‘During the investigation we have to observe each and every detail to find clues. Knowing about the caller tune might help us find few of his Bollywood connection or other links. But it is for sure that the lyrics of the caller tune describes Dawood’s real life attitude,’ the source added.
While intercepting the calls of Dawood, sources said, ‘Certain peculiarities about his voice were observed. He gives pauses after every coded word.
He speaks like a Bollywood hero with style and attitude... His tone can easily make anyone believe that he is some goon.’

Dawood’s B-town connections have never been a secret. Earlier too several stars were found to be in touch with the underworld don. Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor are some of the actors who share the stains of being connected to the D-company.
