Caitlyn to publish memoir about her transformation
Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner is releasing a memoir about her transition from male to female.
The 66-year-old reality star is reuniting with journalist Buzz Bissinger for the memoir, reported New York Times.
“Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey,” a statement from Jenner reads.
“I couldn’t pick a better team, in Grand Central (Publishing) and Buzz, to make sure this story is told with a lot of honesty and care.
“I made it clear to her before I agreed that everything has to be on the table, nothing can be left out, and I’m going to be interviewing dozens of other people,” Bissinger, whose bestselling sports books include Friday Night Lights and The Classic Mantle, added.
The untitled book will centre on Caitlyn’s childhood as Bruce Jenner, his days as an Olympic champion in the 1970s, his three marriages and her transition. It will be released next year.
The book will include Jenner’s New York upbringing and her ascent from two-time Olympic gold-winning decathlete to motivational speaker.
