Cairn India oils contest between Amazing Champions of Energy

The contest saw participation from 21 premier engineering and management institutions across the country, with ISB-Mohali emerging as the winner in the grand finale. MNIT-Jaipur and IIM-Calcutta were judged second and third respectively.
Cairn India Ltd CEO P Elango felicitated the winners with Rs 5 lakh, 2 lakh and 1 lakh for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Speaking on the occasion, Cairn India CTO Dr Sunil Bharati said, ‘Issues pertaining to the oil and gas sector will have an influence on India’s journey towards energy security. Through the ACE initiative, Cairn India collaborates with leading Indian educational institutes to trigger young minds to discuss energy solutions for tomorrow.’
