Tata Steel starts Aashiyana portal for individual home builders

Kolkata: Tata Steel on Tuesday launched a new website Aashiyana for its retail customers at an event held at Tata Centre here.
Aashiyana ( is an initiative by Tata Steel to address the varied needs of Individual Home Builders (IHB), which is the core customer segment for its Rs 5,800-crore retail brand Tata Tiscon.
In India, home construction continues to remain a desirable but challenging project for the average Individual Home Builder. Lack of relevant guidance, ideas and information significantly limit a home builder's capability to get his/her 'dream home' constructed.
Aashiyana is an online portal that puts the Individual Home Builder back in the driving seat for their construction projects. It empowers the home builders by providing them with relevant information, inspirational ideas and reliable contacts at their fingertips.
