Sugar closes quiet on sporadic demand

New Delhi: Quiet conditions prevailed at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today on scattered demand amid adequate stocks.

Marketmen said, apart from sufficient stocks position, small buying support from stockists and bulk consumers kept sweetener prices unmoved.

The volume of the business was modest to moderate.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,600-3,750, S-30 Rs 3,590-3,740.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,300-3,450, S-30 Rs 3,290-3,440.
